Whilst the Acorn Jacket may seem similar to Barbour's Beadnell Jacket there are subtle differences. The Acorn is treated with an 8oz Oban wax whereas the Beadnell is treated with the traditional 8oz Sylkoil wax meaning the Acorn has a more matte finish in comparison. In addition the Acorn provides a modern boyfriend or boxier fit whilst the Beadnell is slightly more fitted. Both jackets are full of Barbour's brilliant touches so it really is up to personal taste!
